Find answers to commonly asked questions about our services.
When can I schedule a coaching session with you?
Please check my calendar on the Offerings page to view which days and times I have available. If it is urgent and none of the times work for you, please email me and I will do my best to fit you in.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers. Once you schedule an appointment with me, you will be emailed and text an invoice. You can then choose your preferred payment method. Payment is due at time of booking. Please view my cancellation and refund policy in my coaching contract form below.
Can I meet with you first to see if I want to work with you?
Yes, you may schedule a 15-minute introductory session where I can answer any questions you may have to help you decide if I would be the best coach for you.
Do you offer discounts for purchasing multiple coaching sessions together?
Yes, by purchasing packages you can save $100 – $200. View the Offerings page for more details. During the checkout process, you will be able to select a package or an individual coaching session and after you schedule your first appointment, an invoice will be emailed to you reflecting the package discount price.
What tips would you give me in selecting a coach?
First, make sure that your coach has been trained by a program that was accredited by IFC, NBHWC, etc. Then find out the coaching methods they use and be sure ask questions if you are unsure if you feel comfortable with that approach. Remember the coach is to facilitate your best thinking and you are the expert on what is best for you. If you ever feel like your coach is pushing you toward a decision instead of supporting your own thinking and helping you to discover your motivations, and that is a consistent pattern, you should try another coach.
Does insurance cover health & wellness coaching?
Some insurances do cover health coaching and/or reimburse for health coaching. As an NBHWC coach we can be assigned an NPI # and there are CPT codes for health coaching. If interested, I can provide those CPT codes so that you can check with your insurance company. Some insurances may cover it for some conditions and not for other health challenges so be sure you verify with your insurance company first if you want to try to use your health insurance.
What is the process to become established as a coaching client?
Once you schedule an appointment with me, you will be sent an email with confirmation and an invoice with options for payment. You will also be asked some questions with your confirmation email, and you are asked to please complete the forms linked below: Wheel of Life survey & Client Intake form.
At our first coaching session, I will be learning more about you, your values, your personality, and your goals so that I can adapt my coaching style and methods to best support your growth. I’m also happy to answer any questions you may have about my coaching practices. I will give you some additional homework to complete before our next coaching session and we will decide how frequently our coaching sessions will meet and your preferred length of 30- or 60-minute sessions.
You may also view my coaching contract below to review my policies. Once we have agreed on a coaching package or single session, finalized the price, and I have answered any questions you have, I will fill in the contract and send for your signature. Please sign and either email it back to me or you can upload the contract in a private Google Drive folder I can share with you.
